Shelby And Kevins Wedding Day

We really got lucky today, not only were we able to photograph a wedding for two great families, but the weather which has been continuous rain held out and we were able to get some nice outdoor shots and stay dry. Shelby and Kevin who are both lieutenants in the Navy had a few different things happen that we don't see at every wedding. One of the first things was a very large bridal party, 20 in all including the bride and groom. We also met Ruffles, the brides dog who was wearing a doggie dress made from the same cloth as her wedding gown. Ruffles also walked down the aisle in church which was something we had not seen in the over 2000 weddings we have photographed over the years. The sword tradition when the bride and groom left the church was also impressive and made for great photographs. These are just a small sampling of the hundreds of photos we took during the day, but thought everyone would enjoy seeing some of the different and traditional photos we made during the day. We wish Shelby and Kevin a safe and wonderful tropical honeymoon, and thank them for a great day and for serving our country and us in these challenging times.
