Family Portraits At The Beach And On The Farm
Yesterday was a full day of photographing high school seniors in 92 degree heat, and then off to the beach to photograph a couple of families in the late afternoon light that we all love. Both of the families were supposed to be photographed at the beach and that is how we prepared ourselves for the shoot.
When the first family arrived, we were informed at the beach that their dog would not be allowed on the beach and this was important to them that the dog be in the photograph. So after a little bit of panic, we were able to make arrangements with farm down the street to get lots of great photographs of the family. The photograph below is the family on the farm, which I think worked out very well considering we had about 10 minutes to come up with the location.

So we were able to finish up in plenty of time to get back to the beach and get ready for the next family which did not have a dog and were able to get our shoot on the the beach as planned. Below is one of the images from the shoot in what wound up as a successful day of shooting considering everything did not start out as planned, which happens from time to time.

We will start posting more in a couple of weeks when we are not out straight photographing high school seniors, which is what we are doing now. Drop us an e-mail on any subjects you may want us to cover at digitalphotographydarkroom@gmail.com and we will make some videos on some of the requests.
