Boston Photo Field Trip

Had to get out of the studio today after spending too much time in front of the computer. I've been wanting to go to Boston and take photographs around the Charles River for a long time and finally got there today. I wanted to get the sailboats, people activities, skylines, and other stuff, and it worked out good, I got all those things. I wound up taking 260 pictures, but don't worry I'm only going to post 8, thank goodness for digital, this would have cost a lot in film about 10 years ago. A couple of things happened while I was out photographing that made me appreciate my situation a little better than I had at the beginning of the day. I wound up going past what I think was the Charles Street Jail, where I heard the inmates yelling at me and some of the passers by, nothing bad, but it makes you appreciate that you can come and go as you want. And I also did not realize how close I was to Mass General Hospital, where I saw lots of people pushing family members around the park in wheel chairs, and these people were not in great shape, so it makes you appreciate being healthy. Don' t mean to get all philisophical (not even sure if I can spell it) but it just made me feel lucky to be able to be doing what I was doing instead of what they were doing. Hope you enjoy the photographs, tomorrow I am going to show you a cool way to fix the sky the way you want it, even if its a cloudy day. Have a great weekend.
